Low Hanging Nutrients

Panama is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, particularly in terms of its fruit and vegetable diversity. Yet this natural abundance isn’t always reflected in the health of its most vulnerable people—obesity and malnutrition remain significant issues.

That’s why, in partnership with the municipality of Panamá and the support of renowned Central American chef Randy Siles, Nestlé launched Low Hanging Nutrients: a series of nutritious recipes made with ingredients Panamanians have always had at their fingertips: fruits that grow freely in public spaces —on trees beside homes, parks, and schools.
